Beethoven and the Immortal Beloved

It’s time for The Immortal Beloved. That’s right. We’re tackling a big one this week.
In 1812, Ludwig van Beethoven wrote a letter to an unnamed woman, which he never sent. The letter ended up in the Berlin State Library (you can visit it today!), and since he never married, the identity of this lady has become the greatest music history mystery EVER.

In this episode, we make some wild speculations and decide who this mystery woman was, and Naomi and Elspeth get all gushy reading out parts of this letter.

(don’t get me started on how much I hate this movie.)
